Michael Barrow joined Liverpool Football College in 2013 from King David High School, where he excelled in his academic studies.
In his first season at the College, Barrow was the driving force in midfield of a team which reached the ECFA Final and Dallas Cup Final. Barrow and his teammates enjoyed a fine tournament in the USA, in which they succumbed to to a narrow defeat v Costa Rica U19 National side. The final was played in the Cotton Bowl.
Barrow has continued to aim high and after he narrowly missing out on a pro-contract, he secured a two year deal at the prestigious Nike Academy after being selected by the then Manchester City coach Manuel Pelligrini.
Barrow had a wonderful experience over his two years at the Academy, featuring in many high profile games against the likes of Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris St.Germain as he sought to make the step up to a professional club.
In the Summer of 2017 Michael was recruited by a US Division 1 College where he is studying towards a Diploma in Sports and Business and hoping to catch the eye of MLS scouts.
